Course Outline

Our experienced educator will devote their full attention to you and your goals. We will first understand your struggles, learning objectives, and preferences before designing the practical syllabuses, lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials employing various resources. Moreover, the course will be delivered utilising the most current and diverse language teaching approaches and methodologies most appropriate for you. We will observe lessons, evaluate lesson preparation, reflect on this experience to inform future planning, and implement necessary changes. Learning and practice materials, both published and self-created, are provided free of charge. This course has a proven track record of assisting students to achieve their desired results.

Topics: Middle school English tests, university admission English exams, grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, writing, academic English, general English, business English, etc.

Target learners: Learners with varying levels of English proficiency, whether beginner or advanced, want to learn at their own pace and achieve faster and outstanding results.

Our teacher: She holds two master’s degrees from the University of Warwick and the University of Birmingham and has 20 years of experience teaching English and IELTS to middle school students, university students, and adults.

Course duration: Choose from 2, 10, 20, or 30-hour lessons, each lasting 2 hours and scheduled individually to fit your availability. All lessons must be completed within 3 months.

Locations: Macao, Birmingham, or live online.

Learning modes: In-person, live online, or blended learning.

Medium of instruction: English (or a combination of English and Cantonese/Mandarin if requested).

Teaching Approach

Teaching involves considering the student’s current level of English ability, learning goals, and preferences, selecting appropriate materials (textbooks, online resources, videos, and podcasts), planning and delivering bespoke lessons, and providing personalised feedback. The tutor will develop various interactive techniques (role plays, demonstrations, games, discussions, and activities) to deliver the lessons and develop assessment methods (quizzes, tests, assignments, and mock tests) tailored to each learner’s specific needs.
