Course Outline
This course covers extensive listening, reading, writing, and speaking practices for the Academic IELTS test. It aims to help you develop a well-informed, in-depth understanding of these four language skills, focusing on the writing and speaking skills that most IELTS candidates find extremely difficult. Students will improve their knowledge of different IELTS writing styles, the writing process, and their ability to construct grammatically complex and correct text. As for IELTS speaking, students will practice various topics to communicate fluently and precisely using sophisticated vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structures.
Besides, we will help expand your topic-specific vocabulary and teach you the best and most up-to-date practice and examination techniques that have helped many of our students achieve band 7 or higher. Each lecture covers one of four IELTS sections with explanations, examples, exercises, mock tests, and expert feedback. Learning and authentic test materials are provided at no cost.
Target learners: Prospective Academic IELTS test takers with good knowledge of IELTS, ideally holding a band 6 or 6.5. This course is for students aiming to achieve a band score of 7 or higher, helping them save time, money, and stress by avoiding repeated IELTS tests, skipping pre-sessional English courses, and eliminating the need for international travel to study English or prepare for the IELTS exam.
Our teacher: She holds two master’s degrees from the University of Warwick and the University of Birmingham and has 20 years of experience teaching English and IELTS to middle school students, university students, and adults.
Course dates: Every Wednesday and Friday for a month.

Teaching Approach
This course consists of lectures, handouts, online resources, mock tests, discussions, role plays, and feedback. The teaching approach seeks to encourage student learning, participation, and interaction. It also enables you to share knowledge, experiences, and different perspectives on a wide range of challenges in learning English and to boost your confidence in using English and taking the IELTS test.
